“BRITAIN IS THE NEW GERMANY IN BOXING” – STEVE GOODWIN EXPRESSES CONCERNS FOR BRITISH BOXING

FightTalk.net spoke exclusively to Promoter and manager of British light heavyweight champion Frank Buglioni, Steve Goodwin. In an in depth and forthright interview Steve Goodwin compared the modern day judges scoring in the UK to that of the Judges scoring in Germany in recent years gone by. German judges’ scorecards had become especially rejected by British fans and media when Martin Murray Vs Felix Sturm for the WBA middleweight World title was scored a draw by judges in Mannheim, Germany and when Felix Sturm fought Matthew Macklin for the same title with Macklin losing by split decision in Cologne. Both happened in 2011 and both were widely described by the vast majority of pundits and journalists as robberies.
