Peter Fury spoke Exclusively to FightTalk.net regarding Tyson Fury’s recent announcement he will be returning to action. Tyson Fury announced his comeback by tweeting “Breaking news. Return of the MAC, may 13th, working on an opponent more news to follow” followed by “I’m taking on all bums, Keep my belts warm guys as they belong to the king who ever got my belts I’m coming for you! Big or small.”
When I asked Peter Fury if this was the case, he responded.
“There are some issues to clear up with Tyson (Fury). I don’t think he will be boxing on the 13th of May, no.”
“He’s got to address some issues. They are not issues that can’t be addressed, but they need to be addressed. Only we have more important issues to look at before we address with the boxing board of control. For me, he’s not fighting (13th May), simple.
When asked if he wanted Tyson Fury to return at all. Peter Fury said.
“100% he’s coming back! He’ll fight, he can box again, he’s a young man! 28 years of age, he’s a World Champion, of course he’s coming back!” He’s had some issues and those issues he’s dealing with.”
